always hated the Rogers, my mother named me after HER greandmothers maiden name. confusing, but ive actually grown used to it. my mother told me awhile back that I could change it, but i surprised myself by not wanting to. anyways here are my list of names-

I do not recommend giving a child a common name with a stupid unusual spelling, like me. My name is Sofie. Often, when people write my name down, I don't bother correcting them. It takes too much effort. Back when I did bother, these are some of the variants that came out:
Soffie
Sofi
Sophi
Sofia
Sofphie
Sophfie
very boring and lengthy task correcting these people. All my friends just call me 'Mel' or 'Mellie' anyway (this is a play on my last name, and also short for Melody, because I play the flute. Long story how it happened).

And i don't know whether you agree but 'Maeve' is a pretty cool old fashioned(ish) name.
