I saw the name Cullen as a first name the other day on a customer's account. I'd seen it many times as a last name, but never a first name. I loved it!(I was also very surprised when I saw it on this list!)My husband and I are trying for children and I've been trying to find a unique Irish name. Wouldn't you know, I googled the name and it came back as an old Irish name meaning "handsome". I think it's a sign, my baby boy (that I don't even have yet) is going to be named Cullen. We're still currently searching for a middle name.

Also, I didn't see Joyce (my grandma's name ) on the list. I think it's kind of old fashion and pretty.

This is for Shelby who has the name Seamus Daniel on her list...... I LOVE IT! Seamus is one of my favorite names, and my name is Danielle (named after my dad, Joseph Daniel) so I guess I'm kind of partial to those names. I still think it would make a great baby name.

This list of names is interesting but often beyond ridiculous.

Naming your boy Cullen? What is that, inspired by that vapid Twilight 'vampire' series?

Doctor for a boy? What if he goes into med school?

Fairy for a girl? She'll get bludgeoned in middle school by the other kids.

Bad enough that currently we have tons of little Madisons, Kayleighs, Noahs, and Jaydens running around.

I'm naming my little one Grady. I'm trying to decide on a middle name. I like Anderson, Anson, Ellis, Emerson, Pierce, Kale, to name a few. I love, love, love old fashioned names. They seem more charming than some of the names today.

I turned 19 this year and after I was faced with the possibilty of pregnancy just before my birthday my fiancé and I are now seriously considering setteling down and having some kids after graduation. So far I've put down these suggestions

For boys: Elijah John, Nathaniel Stephen, Isaac David and Tobias William

For girls: Elizabeth Sarah Marie, Catherine Hayley Rose, Victoria Louise Mae, and Beatrix Lillian Paige

^^ I like them all and in truth my maternal instinct has kicked in so much I might just have to have them all :)

I'm female and my name is Ignatius. I like the idea of having a male name for a female, it's cute. My immediate family is based around this. I have two sisters: Elijah and Cooper. And my brothers all have 'Classic' names: Beauregard, Bartholomew, Maximillion and Napoleon.

I too, do not like the name Prudence. It resembles "prude," not only that, but for some reason it reminds me of prunes {and prunes are disgusting! I haven't had them in forever and I can taste them in my mouth...}

Also in response to Harley, I do not care for... quite frankly any of the names you have chosen. I too am 13 and sure, it's a girl thing- we like picking out names for a future families. I plan to adopt 2 African American babies, a boy and a girl.
These aren't very old-fashioned but I'm liking:

Jasmine Marie or Michelle Rose for a girl,

and

Michael Edward for a boy.

But now that I read these list of names I like Michael Theron and Michael Asher.
Also after seeing the girl's names I do enjoy Jasmine Aurelia or Jasmine Love. Michelle Love is also pretty.

Oh well, Iv'e got time to think about it.
