(BTW what kind of moron would give his child the name Adolf Hitler? And his sister Aryan Nation??? Complete crackers from the boondocks.)
BTW that's my two children in the photo on the top left. Charles Alexander and Eleanor Mathilde. Taken last summer in Provence.

Our Girls are Fleur, Paris, Cruz, Pixie & Sarina and our son is Chai! We're having another little girl and we can't decide at all!
My grandmother's name was Hermina. I've never seen it on any list...
My name is Laura Nicole, I never knew of any one else with Nicole as a middle name but now I have heard of HEAPS! Laura is common too but I still like it, and prefer it to Lauren, Loretta, and even Lora. I know some people with names such as Shania, Shevannah, Micah and Indiarna (girls not boys) and I think they are quite unique. (except that I know about 4 Shanias.) Most Micahs I've heard of are usually boys, but I prefer it as a girl name.
My other middle name is Maynard, after my great-great-Grandmother Emily Maynard. She had a ring and when her daughter turned 17 she passed the ring down to her. Then when HER daughter was 17 the ring became hers, and so on. Now my Mum has the ring and in 4 years I will receive it. It is gold and has 2 rubies and 3 diamonds. It is so beautiful.
Anyway, the names on this list are great. There are so many I like.
Another more old-fashioned name I love in Bronwyn.

I think it’s a combination of both. Names like Gladys, Herbert and Herman just sound old and it's difficult to imagine them ever coming back into fashion. I feel parents generally turn to older names because of family tradition or history. These days it has become much more fashionable to create either unique names, or more common names with unique spellings. => http://allbabythings.net
The names that I am swaying towards for my children are:
Girls - Kendal & Tiana
Boys - Tristan & Byron
Some other names that I love are Cara-grace, Eva, Leon, Caiden, Lola, Fraya
Hope this might help someone :)
I've always adored my name because of how unique it was. My grandmother is French, so she adores it even more. My name, by the way, is Soleil Èlan, pronounced So-lay E-lan. Soleil is French for sun, or sunshine. I haven't met a Soleil in my time and adore the name. I also find it funny when people try too spell it or pronounce it without me helping them. I wasn't bullied for it either.
