Charlie in the arms of his 94 year old Great Grandmother whose husband (Pierre Laroque) was with De Gaulle in London and set up the French Social Security System after the war. He was on a Vichy/Gestapo hitlist and was flown out of France by the British during WWII. Crossing the Channel later, after the Liberation, with a trunk of gold bullion under his knees. Quite a story. Madame Laroque still lives in the same apartment in the 16th Arrondisement (site of Victor Hugo's Mansion).
