Were you able to find any more information on what this webpage says that is written in (I'm guessing) Kurdish? http://jebar.info/do3axangor.htm I ran it through an online translator for Arabic and only a few words showed up, but one of them was Doa. That is a Yazidi(?) structure (shrine?) in the background, so I'm deducing that it is the poor girl's grave. If you find someone to do the full translation, can you please post the results on your website? I'll keep checking back. Also, please consider linking this petition to the Kurdistan regional government. http://www.petitiononline.com/kurdish/petition.html
Thank you for your efforts Malcolm. If it wasn't for you, I would not have heard of this tragedy, which in turn prompted me to do some more research and realize how wide spread the problem is in the area. Through my research, I also learend more a about the Yazidi and Kurdirsh people.
