Any society that condones this type of atrocity should be flattened. I have always tried to be moderate in my views, tolerant of my fellow man, whatever thier religion or race. But I'm so sick of seeing this type of thing from extremists. They will never change. I think we should just drop a great big nuke on their heads and have it over with.

Thanks for posting this, it's horrific and people NEED to be exposed to it. We're never going to be able to stop the sort of misguided, disgusting beliefs that produce "honor killings" unless people are forced to deal with it.

Islam is pure evil. It is natural for a young girls and boys to fall in love. Sometimes mistakes are made, but they are not ones that instantly negate one's love for their child. You counsel them and support them in their adult decisions and allow them to take responsibility for their actions. Stoning them is not the answer. Muslims do not love their children. They are simply the next battalion of soldiers taught to hate without cause and have no reasoning skills. It is barbaric what they have done. Islam and Muslims are barbaric. The so called Iraqi police stood by and watched this take place. I could not stand by and watch this transgression from humanity take place. They wonder why the world hates them. They are worse than animals. Animals kill for food and fear. I would like to see them pull this stunt in front of me. I have no issue with defending the lives of innocent, defenseless people with extreme prejudice. I know non-Muslims (the good guys) around the world are saying prayers for this poor child. I’m sure after they killed her; they saw fit to bury her as a Muslim. Islam is the hand of Satan and nothing but evil and filth. Their most hated pig is cleaner and more welcome in my home. Islam should be wiped from the face of the earth before it is too late for those of us left.

I don’t agree with the previous post - Islam is not pure evil, nor is it barbaric. Ignorant comments which amount to the suppression and demonizing of a group of people in exactly the same way woman are in this Kurdish area. Western governments support and sponsor these regimes for political and economic gain - it suits our governments to turn the other way when they are paid to do so, or shout from the rooftops about fighting gender oppression in Afghanistan (girls are now going to school in Afghanistan). The men that did this to the girl were not Muslim but her own Yezidi relatives. They were punishing her for being with a Iraqi Sunni Muslim boy. If you'd read the Amnesty report properly you'd know that. Although, yes, Muslims stone women to death in so-called "honor killings" also.

islam is the religion of peace,
of course some people are using it as a cover to their deeds but this is nt the fault of islam,
10-12 years ago,christian serbians killed around 100 000 muslims in bosnia(mid of developed europe!! ) but none of us said that christianity is evil! and in irak everyday hundreds of innocent people is dying becouse of western democracy!!

Assuming you know that a nuke would also kill the girl herself (and the boy she was with, who's still alive), then you only have to thank the stoners, since they went right ahead and said 'Well, we don't have nukes ourselves, but we're just a bunch of filthy people and we should all die... I know, let's start by stoning one of our own to death, so that when the self-righteous westerners come to clean our society, they can be sure that their nukes will only incinerate the extremists.'.

Muslims - pick your race - are not peace lovers. Islamic beliefs are rooted in fear of women and the power that they hold. My woman is amazing and I honor her with LIFE, by loving her and respecting her.
