More Double Standards From YouTube
OK so YouBoob busts my arse for infringing their "Terms of Use" supposedly (even though there's been a copy of the very same video up for the last year - see story below) and then what have we here today? It's Nalts offering his services. A blatant breach of "Terms of Use" - "YouTube hereby grants you permission to use the Website as set forth in this Terms of Service, provided that: (i) your use of the Website as permitted is solely for your personal, noncommercial use". Now are they gonna do to him what they've just done to me? Be interesting to see. He has, after all, over 9000 subscribers and some 2.7 Million views for his 365 videos. Interesting figures. I had 380 subscribers and 1.4 Million Views for 220 videos before they pulled the rug on me. So let's see what happens. BTW Seems Nalts has his nose out of joint since being passed over for the YouTube "Partners" Advertising Program. As well he might. Trouble is, Nalts uses copyrighted music in his videos and as you know the Copyright issue is about to be tested in the courts. Remember Napster? But no...I'm not bitter and twisted. Hell no. Good luck to Steve Chen and Chad Hurley if they can use everybody up this way. It is, after all, the American way isn't it?
