WANKER Beer
I love the internet. Keeps me amused for hours. I came across this beer-label at Rude Food which is a pretty funny English site dedicated to rude product names (and I notice our Australian Kraft "Coon" Cheese gets a mention along with other funny stuff like FART bars from Poland).
Seems The Pittsburgh Brewing Company (the 8th largest US brewery) acquired Wanker Beer from the Kiwis nine years ago. It was established and originally marketed in Auckland, New Zealand. (The PR release said "The beer will be targeted toward young males" - no kidding).
It doesn't seem to be around anymore. A very great pity. I'm keen to get my hands on one (ha bloody ha). Seems folks just trade the labels. But I'd love to do the Advertising Campaign for this piss. Two slogans come directly to mind -
"That's My Beer - WANKER!" and "Take your hands off my beer - WANKER!"

and how about "where's your wanker, wanker?"
The President of the company had his office in New Port Beach, CA was the sole proprietor of the business. I met him when I owned a modeling agency in Long Beach, CA in the early 1990's. We were a match as I had the beautiful models and he had the concept. I showed him how to market and sell his product "Wanker Beer" in most of the hot clubs/bars from New Port Beach to Santa Monica to Malibu, CA. We would inform clubs/bars that if they purchased a certin amount of beer by the case, that we would hold a Wanker Beer promotion/contests inside there club to bring in business and promote it with beautiful women of which I had! You birng in beautiful women to a club is like bringing candy to the candy store.
The comments about the taste of the beer nobody enjoyed. But, the concecpt behind the beer was a great idea.
In a businesss aspect, I drove the bus for Wanker Beer from the ground floor and showed the President how to market his product!
