Is There a God?

SophieLife just isn't fair. I'm devastated by this news I've just read in The Sydney Morning Herald.
"Sophie Delezio, who suffered horrific burns after a car crashed into her kindergarten in December 2003, is on life support after being hit by a car on a Sydney crossing this afternoon.
The five-year-old was struck by a car while being pushed across a pedestrian crossing in a stroller at Frenchs Forest Road in Seaforth about 4pm today, NRMA CareFlight spokesman Ian Badham said.
She was thrown 18 metres by the impact, an ambulance officer on the scene said.
Sophie suffered head, facial, chest and leg injuries and was airlifted to Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick in a critical condition, an ambulance spokeswoman said."
The little girl lost both feet, some fingers and suffered third-degree burns to 85 per cent of her body when she was trapped under a car that crashed into the Roundhouse Childcare Centre at Fairlight, in Sydney's north, on December 15, 2003.
She underwent months of operations, but captured people's hearts with the cheerful way she dealt with her injuries.
Sophie underwent life-saving surgery at least three times during the months she was in hospital - three of which were spent in intensive care.
After celebrating her third birthday in hospital, Sophie returned to the intensive care unit for a major skin graft operation on her back and the back of her head.
During her treatment, she received 42 units of packed red blood cells and at times her condition was so grave her parents were asked if they wanted to turn off her life support.
Sophie had been able to walk short distances with the aid of prosthetics.
