$100 Laptop for "Developing Nations" Prototype
click meWe had a look at this back on February 9 The prototype was seen today, I discovered while perusing boingboing Good to see this terrific project moving ahead. Read all about it here - laptop.org. More photos here - flickr.com but it seems very strange they don't show someone cranking the bastard up? I guess it was just the first public outing not the official unveiling. Still, I want one. Not in that cacky orange, though. Make mine camo.
And completely off topic but I don't know where else to put it...you guys remember that idiot Uncle Pervy don't you? The plonker (to borrow one of fingers favourite expressions) I banned because his comments were getting out of order? Well here he is -
Blow up Uncle Pervy What do you reckon he's got in that cute backpack? His lunch? A book? Spare knickers? Any ideas?
And also off topic. Someone Googled "toothless" + "gay" + "dentures" today and it directed them to my Short Stories. WTF? Actually it was a "Yahoo UK & Ireland" Search but "Googled" makes more sense than "Yahooed" don't you think?
