my life as a frog

231239-253638-thumbnail.jpgSunday morning, Paris. We've just been down to Parc Citroën - a new park on the site of the old Citroën factory on the river ten minutes walk from where we live. I got "her indoors" to take a few piccies of Charlie and his dickhead Father. Nice morning until some little schizo guy thought I was taking photos of him and rambled on about "the secret service...and it was important to him...and why are you taking my photograph" and other crazy shit. I was ready to punch him into the duckpond but Cécile spoke to him gently and he ended up apologising and going away. These other photos are of the Metro stop - "Javel" with the leaning tower of Pisa in the background. Again, about ten minutes from where we are. You can see a glimpse of la Seine on the left of the shot.231239-253641-thumbnail.jpg231239-253644-thumbnail.jpg231239-253646-thumbnail.jpg This is the bedroom where I have my computer. 231239-253750-thumbnail.jpg

And the lounge room. 231239-253754-thumbnail.jpg

with one of my paintings hanging on the wall and an extremely ugly orange plastic stool that I use for getting into the cupboards and wish I'd moved out of frame. To the kitchen I built with oak ("chene") floor and benchtop - everything tight like a galley on a boat. 231239-253757-thumbnail.jpg

We've just sold this little flat. I shall miss it. But I shan't miss not having enough room to swing a cat. 231239-253760-thumbnail.jpg231239-253763-thumbnail.jpg

Bonjour lambe. Beautiful pictures of you and Charlie. I love the black and white one. And wow - the grass is green? What has the weather been like?

Hey Chesty, dare I ask - what did you do to be in so much pain?
January 22, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterWCS
You may ask, WCS. Nothing at all thyat I can think of. Was getting a spot of pain last week but it was different. This is limited movement in head and arms and pain in upper back that is kind of ... sickening, if that makes sense. Also movement or head and arms makes upper chest hurt also, as does breathing deep and eating. Same sort of pain - kinda dizzying. Feel like I'm gonna cry every time I move.

January 22, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterC LaRue
Hmmm fair enough mushie, you could have at least given the lads a dip in the font or something.

Thanks Rob - Nice Image - But how do you cross yourself with them? And I think that's make all his children priests and nuns!

Morning all, that kid of yours really is a good looking fella. Your missus must be stunning!

You want Pain Chesty????? Try carrying the heavy end of a fridge down 7 flights of stairs and then going back up and down those stairs about forty times with boxes and other assorted crap. The lounge was tops fun too. Is 29 too young to get plastic knees??

Ouch Chesty and B. Not good.
January 22, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterWCS
Did you live in my old flat Uncle B? Been there and done that? Moving IN and moving OUT. Both sucked balls. That hurt the next day, but it was a 'this will go away' pain. The way I feel today is more horrible.

O/T (I have drugs being delivered and a physio booked. Yay for Mr LaRue!)

What is with the wierdo posts on Radar? Last week it was irritating single women. Today its really ... strange ... osama jokes. WTF?

Fuck moi, Mal...that is a very petit apartment, although it does have a certain provincial charm.
How about some pics of Cecile...
January 23, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterfingers
She doesn't want you blokes wanking over her photos (her words). And yes the apartment's small. But not as small as some - 35 square metres. Next one is twice the size and has a view of the Eiffel Tower from the living room. I'm thinking of charging visitors for a gander. The Tower twinkles with lights all over on the hour and half-hour. That's gotta be handy.
